About

I'm a Glasgow-based artist, born and brought up in Stirling.

I initially studied Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art, and worked in that field for several years before staying at home in Glasgow to look after my three children.

During this period I was able to develop my lifelong love of drawing and painting. Nowadays, I work mostly in oils, although recently I have begun also to experiment with mixed media. I am mainly attracted to the colours and patterns of the Scottish Landscape, particulary those found in the East and West Coast fishing villages, and in the bustling cityscapes of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
