I'm a Glasgow-based artist, born and brought up in Stirling.
Before developing my love for painting I studied Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art, and worked in that field for several years. It was around this time I paused my career, staying at home in Glasgow to raise my three children.
During this period I was able to develop my lifelong love for drawing and painting. Nowadays, I work mostly in oils, although recently I have begun to experiment with mixed media. I am particularly attracted to the colours and character of the Scottish Landscape, including those of the East and West Coast fishing villages, and the bustling cityscapes of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
